Family Reunion at the Flytrap 12/26/09

Most of you probably already know about the show on December 26. Andy tweeted that he's playing a "very short acoustic set." Some prior members of MWK will also be there, as well as Bryan Jewett, Nick Gibson, and other Tulsa Musicians. I think about 12 different folks are slated to perform.

Anyone else going besides me?

if you, or anyone else gets a chance to talk to Andy, tell him about this site and how proud we are of him. We had messaged him to tell him about it but then there was the whole twitter lock out so we don't know if any of the guys other than Joey responded.

I'm planning to talk to him because I have something to give him, so I'll try to remember to mention this site as well. Can't guarantee it, though...because my mind may become mush once I'm standing in front of him. LOL

for those who wanted to be there but couldn't be, Mandy is doing a cellcast around misnight Central time

That was possibly the best recap I've ever read. You're an excellent writer, coolie. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It was a wonderful way for those of us who would have loved to have been there, but couldn't be, to share in that amazing experience. It must be gratifying to Andy to know that his true audience extended well beyond the few people who braved the snow to be at the Flytrap to include all those listening to the cellcast and awaiting YouTube videos.

Yeah I'd say all the vids from that night are pretty good. I put a different videographer's set of vids on my iPod, but now I'm tempted to add Cougarslovecook's as well! LOL

That was fast, thank you!

It was an excellent night of music. I told Andy it was not him that was the reason I decided to part with my money to go this time. I wanted to see Nick again, meet Josh and see Bryan perform. Andy was an added attraction this time and, of course, he was pretty darn good as always. I also really liked Beau Tyler from Rescue Signals. I had a blast there and will go back again if I can get that much wonderful music. Great fun with good friends...how can one go wrong?

That does sound wonderful, Jeannine! There were so many talented guys there that night, and it seemed like a very "laid back" kind of shindig. It must have been a great experience.
