| With Andrew supposedly moving to L.A. soon, I'm wondering how much longer we'll have AC on KCRadio. I really like listening to the show (listening right now, in fact), so it'll be a real bummer if/when the show ends. | |

| I was just thinking about that, Coolie. It'll be a shame when Andrew moves on (and I'm sure that's inevitable) because I really have enjoyed AC on KCradio. I met him in Columbus in August, and I told him how much I enjoyed listening to his show. The gratitude on his face when he thanked me and told me how much he appreciated it was beautiful. (And in fact, he looked an awful lot like David just then! ) | |

| He's lookin' an awful lot like David these days!! LOL!! Those boys are funny, they have to "Grow" into their resemblance!!! LOL!!
Andrew is a great guy, haven't met him, but I sure hope to one day. And you too Nicole!!! I'm SE of Columbus!! (I was going to go to the show, but my husband's family had a tragic construction accident THE DAY BEFORE. So, I couldn't go)

| Oh NO, how awful!! Was your husband okay?
Surely we'll meet each other someday, we're not that far apart! I'm in Mansfield, which is almost exactly in between Columbus and Cleveland.

| Oh Goodness!! My Dad lives in Mansfield!! He's retired from the Air Guard Base there!!! No, my husband was at work ( he works for a big science think-tank, Battelle Memorial Institute) His family was building my B-i-l 's house and a dozer flipped on hubby's uncle as he was loading it. They think it killed him instantly. No way I could justify going to a concert after that happened..He needed me. So, DC and TA are gonna have to wait to meet Ms. Huntwork in person next time around!! LOL!!! What was even sadder was that Uncle Dick was killed the day before his daughter's 1st wedding anniversary. That was incredibly difficult.
ANYWHO!!!
I have always appreciated Andrew and felt grateful to him for talking David into Idol..how else would we know him and all these great guys?!?!?! So, really, it all goes back to Andrew. He started it...and I think that's incredible. He's an awesome guy and I really hope he succeeds in whatever he chooses!!

| Oh wow! Amazing about your dad, very sad about your hubby's uncle. That must have been so hard for your husband & his family. My deepest condolences. I couldn't have gone to a concert in such a case either. And returning on topic... Andrew has an incredible work ethic. Did y'all read his tweet from several days ago when he mentioned having a temporary job?? Seriously, I doubt he'll be in serious need of money when he's living with David, 'cause we all know David will take good care of him... and yet he decides to get work in the meantime anyway. I think Andrew will continue to work hard until he achieves his dreams, and I'll be rooting for him every step of the way. | |

| Me too. (rooting on Andrew) They are Midwestern Guys and they have had somewhat of a hard life (have to with so many different step relatives/half relatives/real relatives) I can just imagine what growing up was like for them before Beth remarried..very lean times tend to make a person grow up rather fast. And also when you see your mom busting her you-know-what just to provide a roof and food, that tends to make a big impression.
Andrew is no slacker or hanger on, that's for sure. I am very confident he will succeed in whatever he chooses, but I hope he learns more radio..the one time I was able to catch his show, he sounded really good!!! Long way to "Seacrestville" but he'll get there!!
Yeah, Dad was at Lahm ANG for about 27 or more years. Full-time mostly.. he worked on the "Herky birds" C-130 Hercules "air ships". Basically, they could drop a whole tent city in one drop!!! (and often did) That's about all I can say about that, but he is retired now and lives in East Mansfield. We drive through there all the time on our way home to Huron!! Get to go past the Base and brings back a lot of memories.
Thank you for your condolences..The one thing that everyone can be happy about (if you can call it that) is that Matt's uncle died doing what he loved to do....work. Talk about work ethics!!! This family literally lives up to our name!! (my screen name) If he had had cancer or was sick or had some sort of disease that he couldn't work? That would have been worse than the way it happened. Odd how different people prefer their endings to be..and what happens..I'm looking forward to more beginnings though, with all the guys and with Andrew!! (sorry, I can get wordy)

| Just finished listening to the last AC on KC show I'm really gonna miss hearing Drew every week, and more importantly the great music he plays. It's always such a treat to hear THH, MWK, Burn Halo, Phil Marshall, Bryan Jewett and others on the radio...and hopefully gaining new listeners. It'll be interesting to see what Andrew does in the future, and what he can get himself into out in sunny LA. But, I will miss hearing his voice every Saturday afternoon. | |
